This lever-fold technique allows the back of the card to show through the front when folded flat, hiding the message typically featured inside traditional greeting cards.
The card is printed on Curious Metallics Cryogen White, a paper that includes small silver flecks. Coupled with metallic silver ink, this paper creates two different effects on each side of the card.
Overprinting black ink over the metallic stars and silver flecks in the paper gives this twinkling night sky a true sense of depth. Silver foil allows the star and typography to pop against the background.
On the opposite side, the silver flecks and ink interact with white to create the illusion of a snowy day but leave enough clean space on the paper for a personal, handwritten sentiment.
